Birds of a Feather

I question sometimes the similarities I share with colleagues and am often left feeling that my mental prowess is rarely shared in that of my "colleagues." Yet there are some colleagues that inspire one to work harder, be better, shine brighter, walk taller, learn more, etc. One must examine their inner self and question which of these energies are derived from there "profession" or "vocation" or whether they are wasting away in a field that does not fully exercise or maximize their true calling. It is with this thinking that I daily debate what it is that I invest my preparation and planning to, as I do seek to feel alive through realizing my potential and exercising it on a daily basis.

Drake is a name that I have heard time and time again over the past few months, and I can say honestly I was offended each time. I never had heard him, yet purely off of feeling I wasn’t receiving the respect I deserved, I was unwilling to give just due's to another equally deserving individual. I realize that sometimes the lack of what we want or feel we need, especially when seen in others can either motivate one to their destiny or discourage one to their death! Inspired and seeking to forever be better I finish today’s blog by saying, "Drake is hot and acknowledging this in no way indicates that I am not or that I will not also receive the appreciation my talent so deserves."

Who knows if when I fall asleep I will wake up, but if I die this day, I will have died learning and passing on a valuable lesson and essential element to progress and change. If you notice you hear a lot of people hating around you, maybe you’re a hater yourself. Realizing this doesn’t doom you to be a hater forever, for knowledge is power and is crucial to change. I’m a lover and I fight when the cause inspires, therefore may I forever be known as one that fought for FAIRNESS,TRUTH, APPRECIATION and PEACE!
