Smooth Sailing in Troubled Waters

I can honestly say that today has been filled with some of the core fundamental elements that bring me joy! I attended church and was deeply enriched by not only the atmosphere but more importantly by the timely word of GOD that was delivered forth, which spoke directly to my life. When service ended I returned home to fresh collard greens, macaroni and cheese, chicken, yams, corn on the cob, yellow chocolate cake, apple pie and home made kool-aid! Following the enjoying of the meal I went over some songs that I have been composing for the upcoming mix-tape! I sit here grateful in my heart for GOD blessing me with a wonderful day!

Who could have known a day that unfolded so wonderfully would have begun by me waking up at the time I was suppose to be at church? However everything fell into place, reminding me that sometimes the best things come out of situations that seem the worst. I wrestle all the time between being positive and being negative, yet its on days like today that I take another permanent step towards being a resident in the cul-de-sac of positivity! I realize that on the journey to victory your enemy will do everything in its power to convince you the outcome will be less then favorable. Confident faith is the strongest defense one can have when faced with these constant battles.

I receive so much support in the pursuit of my dreams from others who are pursuing their dreams, I often feel more inspired once I reflect on the fact that things did not have to be so. I decided to offer something different today in my video blog, a song I just composed and finished which is probably the best reflection of how I feel.
