CLOSE TO GREATNESS

So in spite of my flaws and shortcomings, I arise this afternoon with much excitement regarding my future. I have been working on music since I was four years old (though this seems to be increasingly difficult for people to believe when I tell them) and have always longed to have my music widely heard and appreciated. Regardless of what's happened in the past and whatever may happen in the future, within days my mix-tape will be unleashed in the streets.

I have worked so hard over the past three to four months on preparing this music, that I've distinguished to myself what was most important to me. I have pushed back surgery, delayed visiting family and friends, and even gone without sleep all in constant pursuit of the greatness that I know is contained inside of me. One thing I love about myself is that I generally take the things that are most important to me or precious to me and highlight someone else as well whether its a shot out or a reference or whatever. I may not have the richest people in the world, but I firmly believe in my heart I have the strongest support system of any person that has or has yet to make a  major impact in the world.

Things have come together in a timeline that could only be classified as divine, and I am eternally grateful. I believe that from the moment the music is widely made available on websites that serve as platforms for new music (datpiff.com, hiphopdx.com, etc.), there will be another major step made not only for me but for all those that may believe in me and those that I may believe in. I feel immensely blessed and with that inspiration I eagerly pursue whatever eluded me yesterday today! As Maximus Aurelius says in Gladiator before battle, "TO THE VICTOR!"
